Can Two Piercers Pierce Both of My Child’s Ears at Exactly the Same Time?

The short answer

Traditionally, no. Tribal Expression prefers one piercer, one ear, then the second ear, during the same appointment. It is difficult for two separate piercers to be perfectly synchronized in timing, positioning, hand movement, angle, and execution — and Tribal prefers precision over the perceived speed benefit. We prefer precision over speed.

One piercer, one ear at a time — precision over speed.

For parents

Some studios offer “double piercing” with two piercers working at the same instant. Families sometimes ask if Tribal does this.

Tribal’s answer

Traditionally, no. Tribal Expression prefers:

  • One piercer
  • One ear
  • Then the second ear
  • During the same appointment

Keith’s reasoning

It is difficult for two separate piercers to be perfectly synchronized in:

  • Timing
  • Positioning
  • Hand movement
  • Angle
  • Execution

Keith prefers precision, focus, accuracy, and individual attention over the perceived speed benefit of simultaneous piercing.

The core line

“We prefer precision over speed.”

The child benefit

Each ear gets the piercer’s complete attention — and the child gets one clear, calm process to follow instead of a surprise from two directions at once.
